Full Circle of Lake County Full Circle Mentoring

In the past year, volunteer mentors and concerned community members have donated over 3,000 hours of volunteer service to our agency.

Most of the volunteers are in the Mentoring Program, where they spend 2-3 hours per week with a youth who needs some extra adult attention and guidance. Mentors help youth with school work, take them on outings, and provide them with support and guidance. It is an incredible opportunity to make a difference in a young child’s life. All mentors must commit to working with a child for a year and pass a background check.

Full Circle VolunteerIf you are interested in becoming a mentor, please call Marty at 486-2400 or e-mail her.

Full Circle also benefits from volunteers who might be able to assist with an agency event, bake cookies, help with an after-school activity, or grab a trash bag at our Annual Highway Cleanup.

We’ve also had volunteers come in and lead an activity with kids in which they have special knowledge or expertise. In the past, volunteers have shown kids the inner workings of a computer, how to make dream catchers, and how to make a picnic table.

If you are interested in any other volunteer opportunities, call Bill at 486-2400 or e-mail him.

Full Circle provides opportunities, education and caring relationships to help Lake County become a place where children make healthy choices, families thrive and the community is united.
